Hi, I’m Viki (they/them). I’m a black queer graphic designer and creative director from South Chicago, helping small businesses and organizations, from nonprofits and podcasts to food and beverage, connect with their audience and improve their online visibility through branding, brand management, and marketing for their products, services, courses, and events.

I'm looking for opportunities that can help me expand my skill set and allow me to build more digital and physical experiences. Be it a branded outreach, podcasts, or events.

I’ve worked on merchandise for e-commerce, such as apparel, stickers, stationery, and drinkware, and digital and physical marketing for Hope for The Day (H.F.T.D.) and their community outreach space, Sip of Hope Coffee Bar. This included a collaboration with Odell Brewing Company for the Open Conversations Golden Ale a Beer label.

Alongside local businesses and various musicians, such as Demi Lavato and Korn, to promote international mental health resources through social media campaigns and events for Hope for The Day (H.F.T.D.).

As Creative Director, I’ve overseen multiple digital and physical outreach events, and campaigns, and helped develop courses, presentations, sponsorship decks, pamphlets, zines, and social media content for education programming, and fundraising including #SAVESIP, which raised over $60,000 to keep Sip of Hope open and operating during the COVID-19 pandemic.

And podcasts such as Conversations Cafe, which garnered enough attention to spawn Hope for The Day’s first youth conference The Conversations Summit. Attended by several schools across Illinois in person and virtually, the summit featured multiple lectures by political and social activists, content creators, and politicians encouraging students from grade to high school to get involved in community organizing.
